    Avoid a 3rd gen Tacoma (2016-2017), because of the recalls and numerous problems.

    Frame is what is most important to look at. Check for excessive rust.

    Yeah. I would say get a 2nd Gen but they all rusted out. :rolleyes:

    Just depends on your price range. 3rd gens have their problems, but a majority of those problems are minor in nature that a TSB can fix. Same goes for the 2nd gen. Rust was a huge factor for 2nd Gen as well... Definitely check out the frame before you buy.
