My 2017 Tacoma has a few lights on the dashboard. It’s the engine light and trac off. Took it to get checked and it’s marking the catalytic converters.. anyone know what I can do? I was told my truck is too new to be having issues with that.

I'd change the title with something more relevant without the word 'help?'

All parts have failure rates, even brand new. It could be several things. Bad sensor, exhaust leak, bad cat. All of that stuff could come from a defective component or from bad gas or from something else upstream, like toasted spark plugs.

Likely a mileage thing (too low or too high) versus an age thing.

Welcome to the forum. What was the code number that they gave you? Could be a bad sensor or a rat chewed wire.

    What are the exact codes?

Its either oxygen sensors or its covered under your 10 year emissions warranty.

If its not the O2 sensors, take it to the dealer.

If you are getting a O2 sensor 2 error, you should probably take it to a shop to determine if the sensor is bad or the cat. Has your engine been modded or run rich at anytime?
