    Hi everyone,
I have a 2023 trd offroad in Barcelona red.
I have the oem halogen projector headlights and looking at upgrades but how do I know if my drl are led or halogen and is the wiring for the factory led headlights different somehow as I keep running into conflicting information.

Also I have the 5 foot bed and it came with a hard trifold tonneau cover with the piece closest to the tailgate has tacoma stamped in it and I can't find any info on it anywhere.
When I looked at oem it only shows soft tonneau covers.
    Thanks everyone

You have the led Drl, and yes the wiring is different. You would need to buy a conversion harness from @daveeasa

Wiring for factory LEDs is different (uses different connectors).
Your OEM tonneau has only a couple of features:
    - panel unlock pull handle is underneath the tonneau on the left side
    - fold the two cover panels toward the front and snap the holding straps on each side. Straps prevent the open cover from folding closed while driving.
    - leave the cover folded down at all times is another option
    - remove the cover by unbolting 12mm bolt under the rubber pop up bolt cover on the top right side of the front tonneau panel and then fold cover panels over each other and remove the very heavy tonneau (works best with 2 persons)
    - I love my OEM tonneau

I love mine as well. Trying to figure out the best way to take care of an maintain it as well as find out if it's safe to take through a touch free car wash until I have time to do a proper hand wash. Also looking to find out if there is any info on thr max weight it can handle on top.

I think the hard trifold Tonneau cover is only available from the factory when you buy a new truck with certain options.

Good to know, I was hoping that he didn't stop as I have been waiting to have funds for OEM headlights for my OR. RIP Sr's.

That's what I have when I got the truck new but aside from it being on the truck I have no info at all about it.

My factory tonneau was crap. There are better options.

I think the factory covers are the best and when cared for properly they can last. I coated mine and it looks and functions as new. Plus they look the best as some have a squared off look that just looks unfinished to me and some have drain tubes that never seem to work correctly as they get clogged up or the tubes fall off.

Thank you, I like my factory hard trifold alot better than the soft trifold I had on my old tundra. This one is much more durable.

I'm purchasing a 2023 model that does not come with a factory tonneau cover. What are recommendations for good afermarket ones to get?

I purchased an aftermarket tonneau and wasn't over impressed. As far as I know, the OEM latches to the bed rails at each joint. Many aftermarket options only latch at the two ends and the middle joint is unattached, free to move up and down.

OEM is the best fit and finish out there. Only down fall is its heavy when removed which doesn't bother me and it only opens up two sections of the bed which again i"m okay with. Mine doesn't leak and looks new still and is going on 5 years old. Its sturdy as can be.
