Found a high mileage 2004 with 208K miles. Owner has records for last four years of services. It’s a few hours away so I have yet to see and drive it. Asking $9000. If it checks out, price ok?

    V6, 4x4.

    Like, so many.
That's a lot of miles. The price seems ok though.

man its gonna suck but you might want to check under that bedliner for rust. Truck has a ding under the passenger side door, might be hard to pull but its fixable. Owner must be a contractor.

Price is right for a 4X4. Miles mean nothing if the thing was upkept.

On an unrelated note, any info on that sun visor? Looks like one of these from back in the day

I sold an 02 TRD extra cab 4x4 with 150k in 2016 for $8k and really would've had to work to get much more than that

Looking at this truck today. What do you guys think?

“98 Tacoma EX cab V6 SR5 4x4. Manual transmission, manual hubs, SAW coilovers, camburg UCA, 1.5 rear leaf springs, tundra brake conversation, CAI (have the original with deck plate mod), 285/75R16 Kelley Safari TSR with Eagle Alloy polished aluminum wheels, SS brake lines all around, mostly all bushings have been replaced with Energy Suspension poly and bushwhackers. Things replaced in the last 1.5 years: brakes all around, CV axles, U joints on rear drive shaft, injectors, coil packs, spark plugs and plug wires. Music tunes come from single JL Audio 12W6 and infinity reference mids and highs, powered by 2 Alpine V12 amps, monster 1.5 farad capacitor controlled by and Alpine head unit. Has a custom 3/16 stainless steel front skid plate and black UWS toolbox. Recent oil change of Mobile 1 full synthetic and Toyota filter. Most bulbs have been switched out to LEDs. I have owned the truck since 1999. Currently there are 209k miles. I'm still driving it about once a week”

This one is what you're looking for - seller said he'd accept any offers over $6500 177k miles clean truck. Too bad you're so far away!

Went ahead and purchased the 98 Tacoma. Has high mileage but it looks as if it has been taken care of really well.

I believe that's an aftermarket bumper skin. usually see them on the 2wd models to make them look lower

At least it's a tacoma with high miles. You may need to do some repairs down the line, but the major components should hold up. If it hasn't had any front end work done (bearings, hubs, brake rotors, etc) then I would guess that you'll need to do that sometime seeing as it is over 200k and 20 years old.
