Need input on homemade sliders

    Here are mine. These are 4XInnovations sliders. I took an inch off each side. It seemed like they stuck out a mile at first. I still hit my shins on them just about ever time I get in, and trip on them getting out, but the more I drive it, the more used to them I get (it's not a daily driver).

    Sliders serve 2 purposes. hit them on rocks (from below), and help prevent side body damage from trees. So, go more for functionality, not looks. If you wheel with a lot of tight sections with a lot of trees, keep them farther out. But if your main attraction is rocks, you could push them in a bit.

    These still stick out from the body, but not much...

    They Look good just make sure the Square tube part is under the rocker panel to just a little recessed under it and in the pictures that looks like what you have
