I know this thread is old but if you are in areas where you still have signal it may help but if you are out in the boonies and need solid comms, you’d be better off with a sat phone setup or getting an amateur radio license, adding in APRS.

Cell boosters need something to work off of. And even with that they aren’t perfect.
