I have a 2007 Double Cab. My son is 6' 3" and needs more leg room. Does anyone know if there is any way to extend/make the drivers seat move back a few more inches?

He needs more leg room or the steering wheel sits to low?
I'm about 6'3'' and i have no issues with driving a 2nd gen tacoma except the rearview mirror is really low, and the steering wheel is to low.

He needs the seat to go back more. The steering wheel position is fine.

Hmmm, the only way i see is to fab something that extends all the mount points back, but i think that would raise the seat up.

He has tried the gangster position, doesn't work for him. I've searched the net and can't find anything for it.

Chop the seat frame track, weld in a spacer and in the rear you will have to bend cut weld and drill the rear mounts

Well, I'd tell him to get his own truck! Seriously, I'm 6' 2"+ and on my Access Cab, can push the seat back enough to where I can't push the clutch down far enough to start the engine. Luckily, it's a 4x4 and has the "Clutch Start" button, which I almost always use anyway. I wear 35" sleeve dress shirts (well, at least that's what fits) and could really use the steering wheel to telescope closer to me. It's not perfect, but I've done 18 hour days in the driver's seat...can't be all that bad.

I'm 6'6, and this is the first vehicle I've ever driven that I haven't needed the driver's seat allllllllll the way back.

    Tell him I'm 5-9 & 175 and I fit...

If he's not fitting he's not fitting. You'll need to modify the seat rails. Good luck.

    And the final word is:

Your son is just being hard to please. Tell him to man up until he can afford to purchase his own ride.
