Previous owner of my 2008 Tacoma 4.0 liter V6 took out the old air conditioner. I was able to find an AC Compressor and Condenser and the lines. But I can’t find the bolts and nuts needed to put it all together in my truck.

Can anyone link me to all the parts of an AC assembly and the nuts and bolts needed since I don’t know the part numbers? Thanks

Have you seen this diagram? I can't tell you size or thread pitch and I don't think Toyota will tell you either. I was able to find some of the bolts for my tacoma at Ace Hardware. i found them to be just as expensive as getting them from Toyota so I mostly just ordered new OEM from the dealership. I hope this helps.

Gonna piggyback on this thread - can someone please confirm if the port circled is the low pressure A/C service port in my 2015? Its cap isn't labeled with the typical L. For reference, the high pressure line is marked with the red arrow; they easily labeled that one with the telltale H cap.

Yes that's the low side port.

If you are worried about misconnecting a gauge or something, they should be sized differently so you shouldn't be able plug into the wrong port as far as I know - but I'm not an AC technician and don't play one on TV (not that there's much need for TV A/C technicians anyway...).

thanks all! nah i'm not worried about connecting the refill container on the wrong port; very well aware of their different sizes. i just read something on one of these threads to "not do it" and now i'm all spooked over refilling the R134a. i just wanna be sure i'm putting into the right place before i screw up my engine somehow LOL

It's not a good idea to just add refrigerant to an A/C system or to just use low side pressure, the correct way to charge an A/C system is with an A/C machine that can pull all the refrigerant from the system, pull a vacuum, the weigh in the correct amount of refrigerant.

The next best way is with service gauges so you can see both low and high side pressures but you need to know what your looking at.

And please don't use refrigerant with stop leak in it.
