any advice on rear shoes for the rear? I've never replaced drum brake parts and although the life is still good, I have 150k miles on the truck.

i will follow along with this thread to learn a bit more about the fronts as well. I replaced pads on my truck at 110k, rotors were fine. I will do brake lines, rotors and calipers next when the time comes.

icon add a leaf, KD max tune,RSG sliders, Falken 33inch MT, eibach spring, arb front locking diff,ARB air compressor.baja designs squadron fog lights non dot comliiant.
either a stop tech kit with slotted rotors and a street performance pad both from same brand or hawk pads and rotors i have had great luck with both and they are noticeably better the difference of crashing into a car in front of you or stopping in time depends on these components dont go stock if you can afford to upgrade

First Post Long time TW creeper. Hello and TY for all your help in the past with my 2004 Taco.

Working on 21 Sport MT. Recently needed brakes and bought the Powerstop KC-137-36 Z36 kit. Little too quick to pull the trigger and got the calipers too. Now that I have a spare red set and bored as hell this Sunday figured I'd prep and paint them. Wanted to ask if anyone has done this in the past and if they have any color prefs? I was going to look for a teal to match some Dobinsons MRR coils but hesitant. Considered Yellow to go with the copper wheels but don't want to throw a rainbow under there. Any thoughts welcomed?

Nothing sexy about the calipers, so why draw the eye to them?

About to replace pads and rotors at 83K. Anyone running the NRS pad/rotor kit? Its pricey, but about the same as OEM.

I’ve had F1 concepts and it’s ok. But if you want the best, just go with Power Brakes and don’t ever look back. Brakes are so good, your soul will leave your body when you step on it.
