Any recommendations? I have always worn Action Optics, but now need them in prescription.

I have Oakleys. Find the frame you want, then get them with the prescription you need.

    I'm subscribing.

Don't like anything Oakley offers, but am listening for anything else that may be out there.

Okay, you don't like Oakleys, don't buy them.

Before ordering glasses, find a local shop that sells Oakley and go try on the glasses to find the ones you like, then get them through standard issue.
When I get my new prescription through the VA, I'll be ordering new lenses for my Flak Jacket frames.

I have always worn Oakleys. Have them in prescription, as well. But they are not good for fishing. I ended up with the Maui Jims. Great glasses. Still use Oakleys for daily use.

I have RayBan Wayfarers and Oakley Gas Cans. The good thing about Oakley is that they have proprietary lenses so even if you go through Lens Crafters or some other glasses shop, they will order the lenses through Oakley. Got the Rx added to the Wayfarers through Costco since I already had the frames. Wear the Wayfarers for driving and going out. Oakley for anything where I'm going to be outdoors for longer periods of time- shooting, wheeling, paintball, etc...

I know this is super old but, I broke my costas last month. They wanted $370 to replace the lenses. F that on sub par glasses. (Great company 20 years ago) My friend is on the Smith Pro team and recommended them. I bought some for a lot cheaper than the Costa lenses and love them. Fits better, hinges on ear piece. If you haven't already check out SmithOptics.

No worries on being an old thread.

I keep an eye out for deals on prescription, polarised glasses.

I've been "eyeballing", pun intended, the Smith glasses for a while. I need to find a local dealer to find frames for my ultra small gourd before I plunk down the cash.
