Looking at trading my 02 xtra cab for an 07 double cab long box with 81000 miles on it. Have two kids and the xtra cab isn't going to work out anymore. My gut tells me that the milage isn't a big deal. Escpecially because I put about 8-9k a year on my 02. Any one else have an newer Tacoma with similar milage? Any issues?

Ended up buying the truck. I am very happy with it. I will miss the 02, but this one is very sweet.

3m clear bra or Venture, stant locking gas cap, Shield, front windows tinted, weathertechs, ARE "Z" topper. Sockmonkey decal, Billy 5100's x 4 corners, Eibach coils, Toytec 1.5 AAL. Michelin 265/75/16 MS2's, Grillcraft MX series/TOYOTA badging. FJ/SE TRD Anthracite gray wheels. Katzkin leather/heated seats.
I would advise to have the vehicle looked at by a trusted toyota dealership. Or a trusted mechanic. Have all the big services been done? Has regular serivce been done? Is it a certified Toyota resale? Just a few questions I would ask prior to purchase. If you can answer yes to the above, and the price is right, then it maybe a sound buy. I have a V6/EX 04 Honda Accord with 124k on it, all honda service, the car is dam near showroom, never had an issue with the car since we bought it new. So mileage is not a huge factor for me.

    Yeah, I gots boost
Well, just for reference, I have 80k on my 2005 and my truck runs just like a champ. My 4x4 went out a couple weeks ago, but it was due to user error. I went through a fairly large puddle and my connectors from the switch to the 4wd actuator got disconnected. Other than that, not a single problem.
