The hybrid optic has 10 LED's in the 10", and is available in flood, spot, or combo. 3200 lumen total.

The Specter has 15 LED's in the same 10", but the driving optic throws wider. 5100 lumen total.

Remember that lumen is the total amount of light output at the lens. Lux is a more adequate description of lighting. Lux is the intensity of light as perceived by the eye. 1 lux is 1 lumen per square meter, is about enough light to read a newspaper.

The hybrid optic actually throws farther than the specter.

With the hybrid combo, you'll have 1 lux at 235 meters, but it will only be 10 meters wide.

The hybrid flood will have 1 lux at 195 meters, at about 20 meters wide.

The specter, on the other hand, will have 1 lux at 182 meters, at about 50 meters wide.

Thank you for clearing that up Ryan. I have all of that information on my computer in their 2013 catalog, just always skipped over the specter cause I was under the impression it was not what I was after. Seems I was dead wrong. It is much more what I am after then not.
