So I just got done watching Dead Pool (loved the movie)

Anyways I went with my friend to the movies and he's trying to decided between a 2nd gen Tacoma and a 3rd gen. He would perfer the TRD Sport, since he doesn't go off roading at all.
    Can I have some opinions?

Personally, I'd wait to see if they fix whatever bugs are in the 3rd gen if I was considering one. Either way, make sure your friend drives the vehicle he wants to buy not just a similar one.

That's what I was thinking. And he wants a mid size truck just like me, hes stuck between a frontier or a Tacoma.

Steer away from the frontier. My grandpa has a 2013 and I dread riding it and driving it. It's slow, it's ugly, it's uncomfortable, it handles bad, the steering is unbelievable. If he wants a mid size, tell him to test drive a '15 and a '16. He should chose based on what he wants. The '15 has a bigger more torque-y engine, while the '16 has a smaller engine with a tiny more horsepower. The interior on the '16 looks a lot nicer imo especially on the limited trim.

That's what I was thinking. I don't like the look and they hardly update the truck with new features. I think he wants something more better for the interior but I'll tell him to test drive a 15 before he decides.

That is if he can find a great deal on one and get lucky enough to find one.
