doesn't look too bad. But that windshield did someone hit their head? Hopefully, all are ok.

Welcome to the forum, sad first post! But it doesn’t look like it’s totaled unless there’s frame damage then they might total it.

If it was mine I would hope so. New frames, especially in the engine bay are meant to bend. You’re insurance will treat you well if it’s totaled. For reference my ‘14 was totaled two years ago over a little flood water. I paid $36k new and they gave me $30k. I bought it back for $9k and still drive it daily. Insurance companies aren’t the assholes they used to be.

Doesn't appear so to me. What does the rest of the passenger side look like? It's all going to be dependent on if the frame was compromised. Looks likes its mainly all that one front quarter-panel and windshield. I'm sure the hood is going to need work or be replaced too.

We'd just be guessing, take to a reputable body shop. Btw, the adjuster gets to decide, not TW, not to the shop, not the owner.

Why do people start these threads after an accident? Unless the truck is obliterated, no one can tell if it's totaled from a picture. Who cares what TW believes, as said, it's the insurance adjuster who makes the decision.

I don’t know....but that sucks. At least you know who did it and wasn’t a hit and run.

@Chew is correct of course, on all counts.

However, since you asked us to Opion, my vote is no.

Hopefully you had an LEO involved to write it up, your neighbor has great insurance, and your neighbor will suffer the ravages that come from a DUI.

Also, how did the windshield get that peculiar damage? Hopefully not from an unbuckled passenger head butt.
