So I decided to cut off my rear bumper, because my new 4XInnovations bumper is being powder coated right now, and I'm trying to get ahead. That said, after I cut everything off, I am still left with 2 bolts that are now basically stuck inside the welded on nuts, on the inside of the frame.

1 - how do I remove these? Heat with torch, and punch out, or drill out?

2 - what is the frame bolt size (need QTY 4). I called the dealer up the road, and the parts guy of 18 years, had no idea, even emailed me the schematic he had, and it didn't even show the front or rear bumper on there.

    TIA.

Use PB blaster or something to soak them, and remove as you normally would any other bolt.

Wack them with a mallet, to break up any rust.

Heat definitely helps; no it absolutely helps.

Take them with you to a hardware store and match the pitch/length (it'll be Metric, guessing 1.5 pitch like other stuff has been).

Small shops are easier to deal with.

I remember when I was replacing some bolts, I grabbed a handful and asked the clerk if I can step outside to ensure I got the right size.

This was at a local ACE (on 2 different occasions, in different cities). Because of that I'll gladly give them my business.

I'm a cheap bastard. Hate paying metric price, lol. Just grab some grade 8 bolt (2" long 1/2-13), 1/2 washer, and 1/2-13 nylon nut. You can add 1/2 lock washer but not necessary.
