Hey all, I blew a tire on my Tacoma this past weekend and need to replace it. Obviously the legacy of the rugged fails continues to grow...

My plan prior was to get my use out of them (which I guess ive done) and replace them with duratracs. But with only 8000 miles on them im still wanting to get more instead of dish out a grand. Is there a better tire to switch it out with or should I just suck it up and get another rugged fail?

By the cheapest matching size you can and run it untill you are ready to upgrade all 4 I am at 17k and already have cracks and some small chunks missing I hate the tires but waiting just like you were

Thanks, I was thinkin to buy that cheap tire and put it as my spare. and run the spare rugged.

I don't understand why they tell you to run the spare not faster than 55 when its the same tire as the rest of them

He'll just run the spare if you have a full size one... And hope you have a friend with a tow truck for the next one lol and if it is a full size spare on a normal wheel I don't know why they would say it where did you see that?
