ok i got my girlfriends rims for her for christmas. she has a 98 tacoma i got cragar soft 8's. like the rim alot. i could only get 4 inch backspacing so they stick out alittle more than i like. but my biggest problem is they rub the caliper in the front. why is that. they are 15x8 4 inch backspacing by 12.00 mm offset. i was told they would work without hitting. and that they would not stick out alot. no biggy they can be sent back but just wondering what u guys think. let me know

    thanks,
    Ryan

You can either send em back or shave the caliper... I would suggest another wheel.

The inside of the rim is smaller than a stock or other 15" rims

Doesn't matter, they're all not going to fit with out rubbing.
