I will be doing a complete A/C system overhaul on my truck. I will personally replace all the components. The system is complete dry at this time. I don't have access to a proper machine to finish the work. not looking to buy the equipment either I am looking for a shop that can service the system with a vacuum, fill refrigerant, and won't cost an arm and a leg.

I assume i will be charged an hour of labor plus the R-134a at a minimum.

    Any suggestions?

I don't, but let me know what you find. My system is dry right now as well and it would be nice to have it filled again.

Fill it yourself. Walmart sells R134 kits with a pressure gauge. YouTube for guidance. I would spend $40 and top off A/C before I replaced any parts.

i found out the oreilly's had a vacuum pump that i was able to rent. not all the stores have them so you will need to check around. the one on Dowling did. they didn't have the manifold gauge for rent. i was told they were going to order one, but didn't.
