    Good Morning Taco fans!

I'm in the market for some sliders for my new 2021 trd pro. I figured I'd come to the best resource available ... you fellow taco enthusiasts.

Here is what I'm looking for:

    (1) Direct Bolt on, no welding required
    (2) Step plate for my dogs/people getting in and out of the truck - no tubes
    (3) Door ding protection from careless people opening their doors into my truck
    (4) Have to be functional, not for looks only

    Who makes the best?

    Thanks!
    Jay

What’s your location? Factory pickup is a big plus. Shipping is a killer.

For my 2020, I was looking for sliders that met the exact same requirements that you're looking for. I went with Cali Raised zero degree sliders and I am super happy with them.

Another good option. I believe the 0 degree overland from mobtown are cheaper right now with the sale. Otherwise the pricing is about the same.

Plenty of good sales going on right now but remember that shipping can be a b&^%$ so might want to consider a company closer to where you live.

That’s a good price, not relevant for someone that wants them with the filler plates and needs them shipped though :D

Thanks for the replies everyone. I live in Pittsburgh, so shipping cost is something I'm going to have to eat. No bigs.

It seems that bedliner may provide better grip when stepping on the sliders. Has anyone noticed any durability issues with a bed liner coating? I'm under the impression power coat will be stronger and last longer but I could be wrong.

I had bed liner and it chips.. once it chips, it continues to chips.. prime and spray paint for easy touch up.

I had my sliders powder-coated and the step filler plates coated with bed liner. They look really clean with the powder coating and the bed liner does great on the steps.

I went with powder coat and touch up with spray paint when needed. I felt the powder coat would be a more durable finish on the parts I can’t see/touch up easily. I would not use bedliner, I have bedliner on my wheels and it really isn’t as durable as you would anticipate.

Any companies near Charlotte NC? Seems like all the ones I've found are Cali, Utah or Texas.

I agree, it will also save you $150.

I went with CaliRaised 25 degree trail edition bolt on. Checked out some zero degree video’s on YouTube and figured they would be more in the way than helpful for me at least. Have a ramp for the dog with the Carhartt rear seat covers.

I had similar requirements and went with Victory 4x4 (in Michigan): https://www.victory4x4.com/product/...Yef9UHXYQMMNfXeIaZgAFZs3bLUe4EywaAmPAEALw_wcB

I got them powdercoated but I was considering getting the tops Linex’d, for grip, and to match my Diamondback and Skycamp Mini. That’s part of the reason I haven’t installed them yet. That, and I’m not looking forward to some of the difficult to reach bolts.

This is the pic from their website of how they look installed:

Very nice looking, but it seems to have a lot of failure points with the two piece design. It also mentions that it is a "Bolt-on installation if using as a step only." That takes it out of consideration for me, however, it is does look nice, and mounting the lights are quite creative.
