I've just changed my rear shocks with Skyjacker 7000 series and my god its such an improvement from Toyota stock crappy shocks...after test driving it for 30 seconds i made up my mind that i was going to change the front as well....so i just order two 5100 adjustable billys to put on the front end... i currently have stocks shocks and CO with 2in spacers...the reason i got the adjustable billys was so i can do away with the spacers...so i was wondering what i need to set the 5100 at so that i can achieve the same lift that i had with my spacers that way i wont desperately need an alignment...although i know i should get one..

if there is a thread on TW that explains how to replace/set the 5100 please post it for me...

    thanks!

so i've been reading this an really cant come up with a good answer....most ppl say that with the TBS springs to set the 5100 at 1.75 to get a level truck right???

well without the TBS springs an 1.75 settings what will that do for me??? make it nose high?

also what are the cons of increasing the settings?? does it ride stiffer??

what are the pros of going with .85?

    thanks

The 1.75 setting will put you just lower than where you were with your 2" spacers and the 2.5 setting will put you 1/2" higher than your 2" spacers. The higher you set the 5100's, the stiffer it will ride because you're adding more preload to the stock coil. The 5100 is made to dampen a stiffer coil so it will do fine, even at the 2.5 setting.
