My name is Brad West and I'm from Huntsville, Alabama. I just bought my first Toyota. I have drove and worked on Diesels for the last 20yrs. My truck is a 1995 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with the 3.4. I bought it knowing it was having some troubles. It runs and drives but has no spark on cylinders 2,4,and 6. How I have no idea. I can pull any of those cylinders plug wire of and nothing changes. I also removed the intake and all of those cylinders intakes are extremely clean like they are being washed out. Not sure where to go from here. All the normal problems have been changed. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated!

Do a compression test on all 6 cylinders and see if the issue is mechanical or not.

Ok thank you I plan on doing that one day this weak. The plugs on that affected side are all black and covered in black soot.

Just wanted to let you guys know that i figured it out. Someone had boogered up the end of the cam where the cam wheel attaches. The pin was broke and this is what they did. Timing was off. Putting a different cam in tomorrow and all timing components. Should run good. All new sensors and catalytic converter and o2 sensors.

Yup, being out of time would cause the ECU to not trigger the ignition so “no spark”.
