So, i guess I’ve never done the seafoam treatment to this specific truck. But def have with all my other vehicles. Been having some lag and mpg issues recently so i thought I’d give it a go.
So i picked up a can and was going to do my usual 1/3’s treatment and when i went for the brake booster vacuum line, i found there is not one. Or an appearent brake master cylinder? Idk, I’m sure it just looks different in this truck compared to my previous 2007 taco. I guess I’m asking which other line i can use to do the treatment. Thanks I’m advance. Also a couple of pics showing what I’m looking at.

You have an OR, right? That's an electric brake booster in that model, quite special (and $ to fix IIRC)

    Return the SeaFoam.

Or pour it in the gas tank and call it a day.

Ah, electric brake booster. That makes sense. And yes, OR. Thank you.

Just dump it in the gas tank. More modern engines don't benefit from a "seafoam" treatment like the old ones do. Clean your throttle body and mass air flow sensor and you should see an improvement (especially if that K&N filter sticker is true, get that thing outta there!).

Wash down the engine bay, then change your spark plugs (with standard denso ones) and your air filter with a nice Toyota OEM filter, as well as clean the throttle body and the maf sensor.

Also yeah dont bother with seafoam down the intake.

Hmm, Okay. Thanks for the info and advice. Will start with the MAF sensor. I installed the KN after the exhaust was put on. Just figured they went together, lol.
