    Never mind I think I figured it out, I ran the RCA cable next to the power wire so I need to run it a different way and try it again. Trying to run 50W to each speaker instead of the 15W normal

    Did you buy quality shielded RCA's? I am guessing not. Shielded RCA's are designed to eliminate that and all but the shittiest ones do.

    It says it is a pro series shielded cable ?

    For example, the amp you got claims to be capable of 400w, but only has a 15A fuse. So at 12v, if it hits 180 watts it will blow its own fuse. And on top of that, it’s a class AB amp so it’s probably only 60ish % efficient. So that 180w drops to just over 100w (max) then split that by 4 speakers.

    All that being said, it’s a $30 amp so whatever. Unfortunately, the car stereo industry has no regulations on false claims and outright lies. Specs don’t even have to be plausible (like 400w when it has a 15A fuse is physically impossible)
