I just ordered the bilstein 5100's from downsouth motorsports. and i'm prob gonna go with the allpro, or maybe the deaver leaf springs. so i'll be at 2.5" in front and 1- 1.5" in the back. I just kinda want to know if I am gonna need new brake lines. and if new Upper control arms are needed, or if they are just for offroading or bigger lifts or something.

3" ToyTec coilover lift on Bilstein 5100s, Total Chaos UCAs, ToyTec diff drop, Scangauge II, 4D MagLite mounted on the drivers seat, Painted engine cover, Painted calipers (red), Painted skid plate (red) Valentine 1 radar detector hard wired, Damplifier Pro on the floor, back wall and doors, Luxury Liner Pro on the floor and doors, Kenwood DNX8120, 2 Pioneer TS-SW1041D 10" shallow mount subs, 2 Pioneer PRS-D4200F 1200W amps, Mr Marv sub enclosure, Hybrid Audio Clarus 6.5" components in the front doors, Alpine 5.25" coaxials in the rear doors, A.R.E. You won't need to extend your brake lines. Also, new UCAs are highly recommended when you go over 2" of lift, but not required. And a diff drop is also recommended, but not required.

Without the new UCAs, you won't be able to get the alignment right. You'll get very close, just not right. The Total Chaos UCAs give you more caster for adjustment, where the stock UCAs just won't adjust that far.

Just edited my post for additional explanation...

And when it comes to the diff drop, there is a lot of debate about whether it's necessary or not. Some people don't run it but are fine. Many don't and wear their CVs prematurely. But, the way I see it is that it's $30, takes 10 minutes to install and is just good insurance, so why not??

yup, I'm gonna order the uca's tomorrow. the total chaos seem to be the best quality, are there any other decent ones. I saw a set of camburg ones today, and I wans't too impressed. how are the allpros? it'd be easier to order though them and get the leaf springs as well.

There's someone on this forum that broke his All Pro UCAs (can't remember who - mjp2?). I hear great things about the Camburgs (talk to SilverSeven) but I'm running the TCs and I couldn't be happier with them. Pricey, but solid as a rock and don't have to worry about them.

Just ordered the uca's. now for the leaf springs, what would be the best option. the deavers, with 1" of lift, the 1.5" allpro's or the 3" allpros??

do you figure 3" on the back with 2.5" on the front would look funny?
