Has anyone with a lifted Tacoma had the windshield replaced and sucessfully recalubrated the safety system. Just got off the phone with the dealer and they said I would need to remove the lift in order for the safety system to be recalibrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mines not lifted but I didn't even have mine recalibrated. Installer just made sure to not unplug it and it was fine. Been almost a year now and no issues.

Never mind. I see you're having issues with the calibration; not if you need to get it recalibrated after.

Lifted and replaced twice, no problem with recalibration.

Is there another dealership near you that you could check with? Some dealerships go strictly by the book, some are more reasonable.

I never have had mine recalibrated. I have not noticed any issues, but nor have I really used the adaptive cruise control or been in a near crash.

Out of curiosity, what are your hub to fender measurements front and back?

That happens every 5000 miles by default. It’s a reminder to get your tires rotated and/or oil changed. It could also be for other reasons.

Ill check after i pick up the truck from the dealership. I called another dealer and they sell new lifted tacomas. They said they should be able to get it close. I have an appointment set up in a couple weeks.

That seems excessive to me in the front. How much down travel do you have?
