Hey everybody! Long story short, I need some advice on how to increase the signal from my neighbors internet up in the mountains. Yes, he is giving me permission to use his Wi-Fi but I don't have access to his router. I get a 30% signal at my place that kind of goes in and out. I wouldn't mind plugging in and running a cable closer to his place. Honestly The lower tech the better. Is there a wired antenna or a system that I can throw up to just get essentially 50' closer? Pardon my knuckle dragging but I just want to work from our little fishing shack!!!! Haha.

This isn’t the cheapest, but it’s a good wifi range extender.

Place it at the closest point to the neighbors house and follow setup instructions, it’ll take a retransmit the signal so you can probably do your whole house too.

Thanks! I am also looking at another wifi antenna and a 100' USB cable haha! Can't show up in time for this weekend but next week for sure!
