im wanting to do some bed lights, but wondered if theres any way to hook up the power wire without completly disconnecting the battery to where everything resets??? cause on my 2012 ive done had the seatbelt chime disabled and i dont wna have to do it again if all the electrical stuff is reset, the 12v battery saver thing wont work either from where we have to have our key turned on for cigarette lighter to work so that sucks....

I don't know if I was lucky or what. But on my 2012 I disabled the seat belt chime using the TechStream Software via the OBD2 connector. About two weeks ago I disconnected the battery to install and aftermarket head unit. The battery was disconnected for about an hour. When I connected it back up the seat belt chime was still turned off.

Don't worry about it. Once it's set, it's not going to change unless you want it done. Mine is disabled and I've unhooked my battery numerous times and it's still off.

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
when connecting the wire to the battery, use a spade terminal (shaped like a 'U') then you only have to loosen the battery instead of completely unplug it to put a ring terminal on. If you tighten it down real good you wont ever have a problem with it.
