Excuse my ignorance when it comes to DC please, I’m trying!

I recently installed the auxbeam 8 gang switch panel and 6” diode dynamic amber fogs in my BA bumper. I’m using the supplied wiring harness pig tails they sent with the lights.

Question 1) wiring size? I’m going to assume 14ga would be okay?

Question 2) wiring multiple lights to one switch on the panel. Do you wire them both all the way to the spot on the panel where it plugs in or should I just run one light to the other light then from there go to the switch panel?

I have decent knowledge of AC power but never really messed with DC until recent so bear with me. 9F581E96-BCD3-4AA0-A12D-47EF887CC5DC.jpg

According to Diode Dynamic SS6 draw 26.6w per light

For those 16ga wire would be plenty.

I used 16ga wire for my 18w chase lights (which are spliced together) and for my 180w lightbar.
For my larger 9" lights I used 14ga wire. They draw 250w together and I probably should use 12ga for them but I only plan on using them for short amounts of time so it should be fine for now.

Perfect thanks, so as far as wiring them to the panel. Should I wire one light to the other and then from there to the panel or run two wires to the panel and put them together inside where they screw to the panel?

On my chase lights I wired them together then ran one wire to the panel.
Good 14ga wire should be able to handle 15a.
    So 26.6w x 2 = 53.2w / 12v = 4.4a

Thanks for the help man. I thought I could do it this way. I accidentally ordered 18g and I knew I needed 16 or bigger

If it's only the pair of lamps I'd do the later. Only 2 wires at the module. Also, if you get a connector to isolate the lights, in case one fails. One can be removed from vehicle while the other continues its job.
