Need the pinout for a 12 pin connector (1st gen)

    My understanding is that the 12 pin connector on the back of a stock head unit is for a cd changer input. I want to wire my Ipod up using this input, but I can't find the pinouts anywhere.

    I realize I can buy a product that does this for me, but I'd really rather not spend the money right now.

    Anyone know the pinout, or have experience doing this?
