Hello all. This is my first post so please excuse if I've posted in the wrong place. I had a fender bender last weekend and lost my right turn signal. I sustained damage to my valence as well. I have already ordered a new valence and right turn signal but am missing a part. I went to the local Toyota Dealership this afternoon to see if I could buy the part and the guy said I'd have to spend $1,000 to buy the entire wiring. I have been unable to find the part online anywhere. The guy at Toyota said I could possible make this work by splicing the wires and connecting it directly to the socket. My question to everyone here is this: Firstly, does anyone have this part or know where I can get it. It is the part that connects to the socket and is between the socket and the actual wires. It's not the part my thumb is touching. Secondy, if I'm unable to find this part, can anyone tell me how to wire this directly to the socket as the Toyota guy described? If I can't figure this out, I'll take it to a mechanic but I'm thinking it shouldn't be very hard. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

If somebody who put in LED turn signals has the stock stuff laying around you could always just splice in a new connector.

I was on the same boat for my 2001 Tacoma. I couldn't find a Tacoma ay my local junkyards. I eventually found that Part (looks a little different on my 01) on eBay. It was refurbished but looked new to me. I'll check my recent purchases for the seller.

Thanks motor head, but the seller has no items listed. I wish I knew what this thing was called so I could search or ask for it properly. If anyone can help me find this item, I'd truly appreciate it. My new valence is coming in tomorrow and I should have my truck put back together except for this part. Very frustrating that not even the Toyota dealership had this item for sale. I'm looking for this part for my right turn signal on my 1997 Toyota Tacoma 4WD.

I just did a search and found about 10 in my area listed at $20. If you don't like that you can just buy a set of new aftermarket turn signal assemblies from ebay for like $30. I had to replace mine on my 99 4runner when they filled with water.

Nevermind, the part I found is only the socket I believe. Search " turn signal pigtail assembly" It took me a while to find it before one popped up on eBay.

I got one if you can wait a week until I get home. I'm parting out my '98, so I got all sorts of connectors.

Update: The guy at my local Toyota dealership is an idiot. I initially went to order a socket, thinking the entire thing (not counting the part my thumb is on) was the socket. He claimed it wasn't...that only the circular part (above the part I circled in my pic) where the bulb actually sat was the socket. I went ahead and ordered a socket from him but to my surprise, today when I went to pick up my part, there was the entire part I needed....that is the socket..it includes the part I circled and have arrows pointing to! For those of you who get in to a situation like I did, with a Toyota person who doesn't know what they're talking about, this entire thing is the socket....part # 90075-99092 to be specific. Thanks to all that posted replies in an attempt to help me!

I know, the dealership I usually go to is usually good. But when I went there to order the Highlander heated mirror switch the parts guy swore it would not fit in my Tacoma! Ordered it anyway, fits fine! I guess they can't know everything about every Toyota, Scion, and Lexus:rolleyes:

ya kinda odd, that whole part is the socket that the bulb fits into. when I ordered new signal housings from rockauto they were already there with bulbs.

I have extras for 01-04 but not previous :(
