With delivery of my '21 OR about a week out, I'm lining up some mods to undertake; installing RC Neoprene (front) Seat Covers is one of the first.

Question: Should I remove the front seats before installing? If so, should they just be tilted back in place, or removed from the vehicle entirely?
Also, once the seats are free, would it make sense to install Seatjackers? During my test-rental of a SR5, I had the power driver's seat fully raised. I am 5"10.
    Thanks Folks!

I didn’t remove the seats when I installed my neoprene seat covers. The passenger side came out great, but the driver’s side had a crease i just couldn’t get out. There wasn’t room to get my hands in to tighten everything good enough with the power seat. The crease drove me crazy so a few months later when I got Seat Jackers I pulled the whole seat out. I figured the seat bolts were out so it was a good time to adjust the cover. Looks great now.

Yes, save the aggravation and fully remove the power seat.

I’m a fan of Seat Jackers. They do make a difference. I have front ones on the driver’s seat. I don’t think I’ll get them for the passenger’s side unless my wife complains on a long trip. 90% of the time it’s just me in the vehicle.

Ya depending on the type of fit you would have to use your own judgement... the seat jackers those spacers for the rear bolts...right?

They have them for for both the front and rear of the seat. I found it comfortable enough with just front ones installed.

Depends on the type/brand seat covers. I helped my buddy undo his seat bolts while tipping them up, and forward to install his coverking seat covers after nether one of us could get our hands under those seats without butchering them up. Was easy peasy after that. I did the carhartts on my truck in 20 minutes for the passenger seat. Driver side was a bit of a pita going on tighter, but i didn't need to remove any seats.

I have Wet Okoles which are kind of a pain to get on. Didn’t fully remove the seats, just took the bolts out so I could move the seats around and that worked well.

4 bolts and one connector. Easy peasy. Why wouldn't you pull the seats?

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
With only the four fixing bolts and the plastic covers to remove to gain full access to the seat sides and bottoms, It was an easy decision to set the seats free when installing the sheep skin fleece covers. The Pass. side came out very nice, but I was less thrilled with the driver's side. The cover just didn't want to tuck under the ridged plastic front bolster. I might try again...someday.

Installed my Coverking covers after work, was tired and lazy and didn’t remove or unbolt the seats to tilt them back. Save yourself the headache and do one or the other. Took longer to attach the cords underneath than put the covers on. Put the same covers on my nephews FJ, removed the seats and it was a breeze.
