So after spending 8 hours today removing my rock sliders, grinding the surface rust away, contemplating how expensive it would be to take em to a sandblaster, and repainting them I wanted to get creative.

I had bought a rocker switch for my light bar, and a 6 pack of plastic switch holders about a year ago and have been too lazy to install them. So after a few beers it was time to get after it!

So I need a good place to put 6 switches because eventually I want to get some ditch lights, rear lights, a winch I can control from inside the truck, etc... so the usual spot right by the fog lights just wasn't going to cut it.

    Speaking of cutting...

Did I mention I had been drinking before I worked up the courage to do this?

I basically took a pen outline of the rocker switch holders in the center of the sunglass holder, eyeballed it, and went to town with a dremel and a cutoff wheel.

Did I mention that I like to keep a clean workspace? Lol.

Took it inside to my wife and was super excited to show her and she pointed out I had the rocker switch upside down... so I pulled it out and fixed it.

Done! Now I just need to buy some more rocker switches and get all my wiring done. I'm considering a bussman setup, but I haven't narrowed it down. Let me know what y'all think.

Sorry the pictures are so damn big... not sure how to shrink them to a reasonable size. (Fixed)

Super solid. I was worried that if I pressed it hard it would make the sunglass holder swing down, but it doesn't even come close.

Yeah... when I do the wiring I'm running wires for all 6 rocker switches whether or not they're being used at the time. A locker would certainly be nice... I have the TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 so no locker.
