I recently purchased a 22 Tacoma TRS Sport. I purchased some rims for snow tires & I need the TPMS monitors so I don't get the light. Did they change the sensors for the 22-model year? I can find many for 21 & older but not so many for the 2022 model year. I would appreciate any & all guidance.

They are the same. Look at Denso, less expensive around $32.00

Best to buy them from the shop that will install them, that way if they're wrong you won't have issues. Most shops can clone the TPMS with aftermarket sensors so you won't have to program the TPMS every swap.

My shop has OEM and Wurth. The Wurth simulate the OEM set installed. Really neat stuff.

I just bought "Autel TPMS Sensor MX-Sensor Dual Frequency (315MHz + 433MHz) Press-in OE-Level Universal Programmable TPMS Sensors"

You clone the IDs of your normal sensor set and you can interchange your wheel sets without worrying about messing with it again. After wheel set change, you would just press the TPMS reset button in the cab and drive a few miles for the ECM to get each sensors position.

You do need an Autel TPMS program tool which models start at $150.
