Just put one in my new truck.....one issue is that at least on my 2015 Pro only one side of the battery tie down is adjustable. Battery with the height adapter was just a bit too tall so spent about 20 minutes with a belt sander making the adapter shorter. Made a mess, but finally got it to the right height and level. A bit smaller size wise than the one that came out (I have the tow package) but the Odyssey weighed about 1/2 again more than the stock battery...the thing is a beast!

The heavier the battery = more lead = more AH capacity or CCA performance!

Our family business sells agricultural farm equipment that operates in the toughest conditions - 100+ F summers, excessive vibration, and heavy dirt and dust. No we don't have extremely cold winters in Central California.

Why mention that? We are also an Interstate Battery Dealer. We have had very good customer service from the local distribution warehouse. The batteries themselves have held up to demanding applications such as tractor use. I use them in our Mercedes Benz Diesel Powered Freightliner, our F-450 dually, our Hyster Forklift, our John Deere Gator, and all our personal vehicles.

I would suggest going with a MTP-27F battery. Mega Tron Plus - good reserve capacity, good CCA. 6-year pro-rated warranty.

If anyone needs a good price on a battery local to Modesto, CA...let me know :).

My "09" (MN) came with the Group 27F, Toyota replaced it with a Group 24F, which is smaller in physical size, not sure of the mechanical difference, but I am happy with it. I think the Toyota "TrueStart" is a good battery. jmop

Do you have towing package? If yes than they sold you wrong battery. It's 27F for anybody with towing package and 130 amp alternator.
