Wanting to replace the stock bed cover, looking at getting a cap, or something else. Any suggestions? Also do you guys think I should lift it, I did put slightly bigger tires on it.

To enjoy it, to stand out but be subtle at the same time. There is a time when to much is to much, I don’t want the same plain Jane truck, but I don’t want a tacomabeast either. I like going slightly off road, nothing crazy at all I didn’t get the off road because I don’t plan on climbing rocks. I’m very torn on what’s next to come on the Tacoma.

In my opinion, I think it looks fine the way it is. Its already well-rounded from the factory.

Really no reason not to enjoy a stock truck. Even the people inside the truck in your picture are already enjoying it.

Go have fun and upgrade as the actual needs come.

You already stand out since its Cement.

Looks good the way it is

    Except those shin smashing steps

Lifts are for looks, even true rock crawlers and off road racers don’t use lifts, bigger tires and longer travel maybe, you want a low center of gravity on and off road.

Well to stand out you will need to do something to it. Sliders are always a good thing for protection from obsticals to idiots in parking lots. Nothing puts a smile on your face like when your in the truck and they throw their door open hitting the sliders jarring the truck and you know they just dented the crap out of their door. lol

This is TW, I didn't know not lifting was an option.

    What's wrong with @Tacomabeast956 truck?

I already have the side steps on letgo, I was wanting rock sliders. His truck is cool, just not my style. I’m referring to the blue and orange ones in the YouTube video.

I say if you feel like you want to lift it then lift it. If you want to make the front level, maybe think about Bilstein 5100s. I didn't lift mine, just did the shocks on the front/rear. It's all personal preference. I personally like those steps so id deal with the shin smashing even if steps are unnecessary on our relatively low trucks. It all comes down to what you like. Nice truck, love the color!

I dont think you "need" to get rid of the cover and lift, but is that what you want? Do you need a cap for your uses, or just like the SUV styling more?

Ultimately it's your truck, do what you want to it just make sure those decisions aren't influenced by others.

2-3 level lift kit, 285 Wrangler Duratracs tires, Westin Winch tray, 9,000 lbs badlands winch, 52” light bar, performance chip.
I’ve got a 2-3 level/lift kit from rough country on my 3rd gen and I love it. It’s just tall enough to give you a nice stance especially with bigger tires and you’ll have a little extra clearance room too. I also have a custom grill and it’s something everyone notices and likes but I can’t remember where I got it. Hope this helps a bit. I’m near Pittsburgh if your serious about selling that cover

I've had 3 lifted trucks, not one was lifted for looks, lifts are for fitting larger tires. There is a large segment of mall crawlers that lift for looks but you can spot these trucks by the nerf bars and dumb colored lights.
