need to improve 2012 speakers

Hi. I am new to this forum. I have been reading for a while though. I resently upgraded to a 2012 access cab TRD Prerunner. So far I love the truck, but there is a small complant. The speakers are so much worse than my old 2005 access cab. Does anyone know if the 2012 head unit and the stock wiring make it easy to add speakers to the rear doors? I am willing to add an amp and wiring, but I hope, since the sterio is the same for the double cab, it will be simple.

I can't help too much with the stereo upgrades, but you might want to get a new door skin if you plan to put speakers in the back doors. Here's a link to a thread.
