    Calling all tire experts.

    Please explain the difference between these two Nittos, other than the price.......

    Beyond the 265/70R17, I don't know anything else about the numbering system:

    My best guess would be a difference in traction, speed, treadlife, weight, and heat ratings.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    One is a load range "D", and the other (more expensive one) is a Load range "E".

    285\70-17 BFGoodrich KM2's 17x8 Pro Comp 7089

    x2, you don't need the e and its heavier so it would be better to go with the "D" rated tire.
