Need to see how much this wheel/tire combo is going to stick out...

Fog lights, back-up camera, TRD cat-back exhaust, towing package, int. wiper stalk, Weathertech floor liners, color-matched the front bumper and grille, TSB leaf packs, Front Bilstein 5100's at 0", Eibach/Toytec coils (approx 1.25" front lift - sits almost level), rear Bilstein 5100's.
Another wheel/tire question that I know you guys just love. :D To head it off at the pass - Yes, I have searched for an answer to this and haven't quite found what I needed...

I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger on a set of new wheels for my 2nd Gen 4x4. The wheels measure 16 x 8.5 -6 offset. I'm planning on using a 265/75 tire. By my crude calculations, this combo will protrude about 2 inches further out from the wheel mounting surface than my stock steelies (16 x 7, 5.5bs, 245/75/16). Therefore, I'm going to have some tire sticking out from the fender flares.

I'm wondering if anyone has some pics they could share of their truck with this same, or similar, wheel/tire combo - I'm primarily concerned with how it looks rather than precise measurements. Straight-on shots from the front or behind would be ideal.
My state requires fender flares to cover the entirety of the tire, and if the amount of exposed rubber is going to be really obvious, I might have to consider a different wheel. Plus, I don't really want to be chucking rocks at people's windshields on the freeway. I've been the victim of that waaaay too many times and wouldn't want to inflict it on anybody else.

    Thanks in advance!

might just barely stick out but nothing too bad, if you have mud flaps still on you might be able to slide with state regulations

The wheels will stick out 2.5" more than stock. 1" from the BS, and 1.5" from the width.

I'm still planning on keeping the rear flaps at the very least... If it really isn't going to look like that much, I could probably get away with it like you say.

Guess my math was off, unsurprisingly, hehe. That sounds like quite a bit.

May just have to measure a 2.5" piece of cardboard or something, tape it to the existing wheel, and have a look straight-on and see.

    Thanks fellas, appreciate your input!
