Just installed my new @RCI-Offroad front bumper/winch/light bar combo that's been hanging in the garage for months, and put the skid plate back on last night and now the last thing is to route the wires, reinstall the grill, find a place to put the stupid front license plate on and done! I bought the R4T bumper caps (painted & clear coated--a perfect match!) to not have to cut anything except the fender flares (Dremel FTW!) so I can sell the factory front bumper section, plus saved everything I removed to sell later...crash pads, wind deflection plates, etc...

Looking for opinions (everyone's got 'em) of how I should route the wiring. I even added pics, otherwise long posts are boring! Plus I will be doing a separate write-up here on the entire installation process with a focus on my problem spots so it might help others.

    1. two 2 AWG power wires from the winch - exits winch on passenger side
    2. two 12 (10?) AWG wires wrapped in a plastic sheath from light bar - exits on the driver side
    3. one light bar switch/relay harness
    4. enough extension wires to route everything where it needs to go (I have heat shrink and solder/iron and electrical tape and wire conduit and lots of zip ties to do it right...)

Planning on putting the light switch on the console below the rest of my light switches:

Here is the view from the top of the bumper showing the wires. The smaller left & right side wires are the fog lights (I ordered an adapter to plug them back into the factory harness) and the bottom-right thicker wire is the light bar:

I will have the light bar relay harness in the cab, probably stuffed in the console somehow (might need to modify the length.) I also have a buss connection box for the light bar power under the hood:

Will need to wire the winch directly to the battery because Amperage is a thing (manufacturer says the winch draws 380A at 9500 pound pull and I used smaller gauge wire to hook the power center up.) Here is a pic of the battery connections before I put the power center in, note how bunched up the positive terminal is. I will need to get one of those extender bar connectors I guess. The wire laying on top of the battery is the connector for a battery tender:

Anyway, what have people done for their wiring routes? Pictures would be super helpful! I need to avoid all moving things such as belts and fans and hot areas like the exhaust system, plus be able to have good spots for zip ties...this feels like a circuit board design problem!
