So that connector was left hanging, and now that everything is back together, the fog lights aren't working. Considering all that could have gone wrong, this is simple and shall be fixed another day. Now onto the temp gauge reading hot...hopefully just a system burp will do, if not may need a thermostat. Wont be able to check this issue til Friday. So appreciate everyone's help today.

UPDATE: burp worked, added a bit more coolant and we are in business. Friday is getting AC charged and that pesky fog light issue. :yay:

In the File link I posted - with MY pdf reader shows around page 281 and 282 is the fog light section. I do not see a 14 pin connector in diagram for fog lights. I suggest you trace the fog light issue from the battery to the lights . IT might be that this is an un used connector as previously mentioned.

    Great job with the repair.

Also, I think you should patent a 2" x 6" magnet sign that says "You can Do It!" - I'm sure all the mechanics would like to put one on the inside lid of their tool box.

Ok yall, help please. Everything is connected, except the one I already questioned that has no place...
Anyways, my problem now is the backup camera on mirror, the hands free microphone, and outside temperature do not work. Ugh...

I scanned at least the first 40 pages of the schematic / link I posted..... IT appears that the Overhead mirror and etc. gets routed to the radio. Per your previous message " As with the radio, not every hole gets a plugged connector. I do have 2 I think left hanging, but I remembered that." I'd recheck these connectors first.

    SteveC

update - scan through the first dozen or so pages in the schematics and especially look at the top page descriptions and you can see .....

Thanks Steve, actually there are more holes than plugs, lol. Either way, that' not it.The compass works but nothing else on mirror. Navigation not working, you hear it audible but no visual on screen. Mic also still not functioning. All dash removed, and every thing rechecked, grounds, connectors, etc

is it possible you have a plug in the wrong location ???? And, it may be possible to force a smaller connector into a larger hole ....

no, each connector is color coordinated or has specific clips that are different than rest in the group or on the item in which they connect.

Do you have steering wheel controls in the steering wheel ??? If so, do they all work correctly ? (Radio volume, mute buttons, on/off hook switches for the phone?
