I'm on the road a lot now with work. I have put over 3000 miles in the last month. the engineis clean, I took it in to have the oil changed and they showed me the dip stick..... it looked practically unused.

Now I'm pulling down about 22 mpg, but the mountain passes are killing me.

What is out there that will give me extra power and boost the MPG?
I already have the factory relacement type K&N, but have not seen any difference other than i don't buy paper ones anymore.

Come on Men let me pick your brains to find a solution.

do the deck plate mod, and toss that K&N and get a AFE pro dry S filter. the K&N filters have shown poor results in our trucks.

And you might want to look into getting a set of headers maybe...
