needed some help

Hi I got a 2017 Tacoma . I want to but bed led light in of total of 4 I am going to use 12 ag wires I have 30 amp rocker switch .I was going to tap behind the tow socket. and run wires inside to the rocker. I did a test with all hook up by tailgate worked all very good. is this safe to do with this hook up using the truck fuse that is in the box do I needed a relay or fuse for power line going to switch inside. I don't want damage to any thing over heating the led at 18 w total of 72 watts with all. or I can do 2 switchs then 1/2
