They also quoted me over $400 in parts alone for the S/C oil change. I got pissed and left with my free state inspection. Real shame. I used to like those guys.

nah. I will just find someone local to install the ECGS bushing. Not worth the wait and hassle. And I'll change the S/C oil in my driveway.

    Check this out.....
I lifted my 2015 DCSB 4x4 TRD OR about 2 months ago. After a few day's I had gotten the Needle Bearing symptoms. I took my truck in with the TSB in hand. The service tech said we've done these before. Cool.. The tech drove my truck and said with an attitude it was normal and they were not going to do anything. I said I know it is different I drive it every day. I asked if he'd take a ride with me and I would point out the symptoms. He did but he had a major attitude. He said it was normal. I said no it is not. I asked that someone else drive the truck. They had another technician drive the truck that was more familiar with the Tacoma's.
They came and got me and said we are ordering the parts and will honor the TSB.
I let the service manager know about the Major attitude I had received and they knew he was an issue. I hope I helped get rid of the bad apple...

All in All they new my truck had a lift and they honored the TSB.
It has been a week with no issues.

Hey guys first post here got a 2011 no modifications 100k had the vibrations for a long time now(started noticing about 40k) read about the ecgs bushing ordered it up installed it with a brand new(not referbished) cv. Took her out for a test drive and i still have the exact same symptoms as before. Wondering if i installed it wrong maybe put it in to far. Got the outside edge perfectly lined up with ware the casing necks down to hold the bushing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated my vibrations are pretty bad (and yes go away when i turn right).

Found this thread and thought it was informative. I was looking because I have this issue on my 15 Taco (14k miles). The first time I took it in, they blew me off. During the "schedueld service" I brought it up again and was more detailed on my description and of what I thought it was. They called me back and said yes it was related to the TSB and they would be replacing the needle baring. Unfortunately, they will only use the Toyota parts not aftermarket. So, we will see how it goes. (at any rate here is the thread if you are curious)

Anyone have a clue what the dealers are charging for this TSB if your out of warranty? I've got a 2013 but it's at 67,000 miles now.

Unfortunately, there were no prices on the bill today because it was under warranty. However it did list 2 hrs. It also listed at the top of the receipt an hourly rate of 125. So I suspect it's $250 + parts cost.

No noise and no vibration. They put in a different replacement part. (Different part number) and no vibration or noise.

It's odd but because it was there so long. I almost miss it.
