Good to hear. If only I can get these f*** dealers around here to acknowledge the issue.

Same here, dealer replaced the rear trans mount but won't acknowledge the new TSB for the needle bearing. I even handed the guy the printout on it. Funniest thing is, I tell him the vibration is from 30-40mph and he performs a fix for a 10-25mph issue. Where's the logic in that haha.

Talked to my dealer today. They have 4/5 parts in stock. Waiting on the needle bearing itself. He confirmed it is a different part # than the original bearing.

Got mine done this week at the dealer and it seems to have solved the vibration. Mine was done under the 24,000 mile warranty and it took some convincing by myself to get the dealer to fix the vibration with the tsb needle bearing. They first replaced my rear driveshaft because they said there was some vibration and binding it there. So I got a new shaft and new tsb bearing at no charge under the warranty.

Right on. I'm still waiting for the call to tell me parts are in. Mine has become more noticeable of late. I can audibly hear the grinding noise now.

Just over 10k on the truck.

I'm hoping eventually I will get there too. They still won't believe me that it's the needle bearing, so instead I'm getting a new driveshaft. I'm not complaining, if they wanna keep replacing parts that's fine with me. So far new driveshaft and rear trans mount, I'm really hoping next will be a new front diff or maybe a transmission haha. I know I'm dreaming but we'll see what the tech wants to replace next.

Can't imagine they do the TSB if you have nothing wrong.

Dealer just returned my truck to me. Dropped it off this morning for the TSB on the needle bearing.

They told me the new Toyota bearing is a couple "thousandths of an inch" smaller than the original and fits more snugly in place. They had to polish out the socket it sits in though to remove some scratches I guess.

I haven't driven it yet but they said the test drive was smooth.

They won't do it. I show symptoms occasionally on mine, but it didn't happen while they had it. So basically, they told me to come back when it gets worse. Kinda sucks.

Okay so I got to use 2WD today! Yay! Very smooth so far. Only 100 miles on the truck since repair granted.

and thats all it takes its the few thousands smaller for a more snug fit. I am glad they changed the part....

Still glad i did it myself with the ECGS bushing and will positively never have to worry about having that issue for the life of the truck.

I had the TSB done in Oct. I choose the dealer over a shop and ECGS because I got a price break from the dealer. So far so good, but we have not gotten any snow here so I have not been in/out of 4hi often. The vibration is gone and has been for 2 months now.
