Im installing a 2" lift on my TRD Off Road, is a needle bearing replacement a must on a lift of this height or can i get away without replacing it?

I did a 2” lift and did not replace needle bearing and have had no problems. I have read that others have had issues at 2”, so it may not be a single answer.

I would. I went thru 2 needle bearings before finally giving in to the ECGS bushing. Should have done it from the get go

I wouldn't touch it on a truck as new as yours. Just my opinion

Did you do a diff drop as well with your 2" lift?

No I did not. I read differing opinions on this too. I found that if you stick to 2” max lift, you don’t need either.

Don’t install it and you might have problems.
Do install it and you won’t have problems.

It’s cheap and not difficult to install, so why wouldn’t you?
