Neons are exactly my cup of tea, but I say it's your truck (or your parent's, or whatever,) and YOU drive it, I don't really care what you do to it.

then its not his.. mommy has control of that truck... he gets a "B" and gets grounded, they can take the truck, he gets caught playing tonsil hockey with his underage gf, they can take the truck. he is still driving mommy and daddys car... dont car how you look at it. him being taxed on the vehicle, guess what, its supposedly his vehicle. he should pay the tax. sorry... nothing was handed to me, i earned everything i have... sorry or thinking like a logical individual.

I did a lot of the same crap when I was a kid. Except at that time the neon lights were going underneath the truck. Looking back it was stupid but back then we all thought it was cool. So do what you want Clemson as long as you don't get hurt and you don't hurt anyone else.

Ok. So his mom and dad bought him a truck. It happens all the time. It didn't happen to me personally, but it happens all the time. So, if he wants to put neons on it why should it be a big deal? It's not your truck, you don't have to drive it, let it go. If he gets stopped for it, it's his problem.

Once I read the thread title, I knew the guy posting it had to be young. I was right. Trust me, I thought neon lights were the coolest thing in the world when I was 15 until I aged a couple years. :D

Mark my words, you will regret those annoying lights. They will hurt your eyes after awhile in the dark.
