I’m thinking about putting some nerf bars or running boards on my new Tacoma—my seven year old son could use an extra step when getting in and out. But, there are so many different options out there, I’m having a hard time deciding if I’d really like the way it’d look, and if so, what kind I would want. I would love to see pictures of your trucks that have them. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

I have these. If you have a big foot these are don’t really work well.

if I could go back I would get these instead. I think they’re the ones that come on the TRD Pro

Just be aware that these are not the best choice if you are planning to go offroad at all as they can catch on things and damage your rocker panels. I found that my grandchildren that age were surprisingly agile and were able to scramble up and in fairly easily, however it’s not “mom approved” as they will get dirty getting in and out.

Toyota Predator steps. Useful for me and my family. Had them on my 4RUNNER, too.

I went with Black Westin Step Rails. No mudding or rock climbing for me. 20201125_191009.jpg The most I'll do "off road" is drive on the dear lease, so these suit my needs perfectly.

I have the OEM 5” oval side steps on mine. I don’t need sliders.

I went with N-Fab Predator steps for my daily driver. Look good and functional.

Not sure where you live but they suck in snowy climates. Do nothing but build up ice salt and muck.
