I have a white TRD like you. I put on Steelcraft 5" oval polished nerf bars. I think the polished looks great on the white truck. Mind you I don't off road and I grew up in the muscle car chrome era. I live where they pour on the salt and chemicals because of snow and ice 8 months of the year. They look brand new after a year. I had polished bars on another truck and they had no rust or pitting after 5 years.

I really like the ICI Magnum RT steps but they aren't available for the Tacoma's. I emailed ICI and they replied they are about 45 days from releasing product for the crew cab version. Just FYI. Here's what they look like:

Even tho these are powered coated I think you should stay away from this brand.

I installed the Toyota chrome tube steps. Easy install and they look great. I got them mainly for looks and door ding protection.

I was just talking to a salesman at Runningboardwarehouse.com today about nerf bars and he said the NFab bars are there most popular and biggest selling bars. I questioned him about the rusting on theme and he claims they will stand behind them. Depending on any damage if there is rust issue.

Living in snow country I needed a product that didn't rust from all the salt we use on our roads. I bought the N-Fab stainless nerf bars for $410.71 w/free shipping on Amazon. (P/N NFBT0678CC-SS)

I thought the N fab bars came with caps to put in the end. I read on T/W some where.

My 3" black bars did not come with end caps But that didn't make a difference. They rusted from the outside!
Don't worry N Fab won't honor the warranty if you have any problems!

I have seen these available on real truck.com. I will most likely be ordering them for my DCLB. They really do have the best look. Here's the link. http://www.realtruck.com/ici-magnum-rt-steps/R184321P2013Y608MA.html

@crashngiggles Cool man, I havent seen anyone here that has them yet, but I will be getting them after tax season. lol so if I happen to get them before you get your lift, I will post up some pics of how they look. They look the most rugged and add to the off road appeal.

I have the Rhino D2's in chrome, and like them. Lifetime warranty on finish, looked great out of the box and still do. $500

I think the main reason that I haven't bought them yet is because I believe that they are coming out with a dclb version and I didn't want to settle for the short bed.
