    I recently purchased a 2015 pre- runner V6
Love it except for the nerf bars. They are pretty much useless. Is there any OEM or after market solution for lowering these?
It seems to have been an issue for a while.
Thanks for reading my post. :boink:

There's 2 styles (that I know of) of factory side steps for our Tacos. There's a solid black one that hugs the bottom of the body pretty well. There's also a chrome (sliver) bar with black inserts, that looks more like your traditional nerf bar. I'm not sure which one you have, I have the black bars on my truck, and I agree they are a little high.

There's also aftermarket options.. N-fab makes a bar with a tube-style step on them. http://www.n-fab.com/products/sfID1/60/sfID2/106/sfID3/107/productID/677

And there's several shops that make sliders (both bolt on and weld on) for our trucks that incorporate a bar that can be used as a step.

    Hope it helps!
