I am running some aftermarket Bilstein HDs up front and some Bilstein in the rear. I got the rear shocks from a 4x4 Tacoma.

The leafs ride great, once I get the shackle flip installed, I am sure it will ride better. The springs were re-arched last year.

Thanks for the link. I will review my options for the shackle flip.

The headunit is awesome. I was looking at this particular receiver a few weeks ago at Fry's Electronics, the rep who was telling me about it was very helpful. He showed me all the options the receiver could do. Another person that was helpful was BBigg's review on this receiver, after reading it, I placed my order. :)

oh ok. do you think that wicked flow muffler GB is good for the 2.7l? i was thinking i wanted a little more power, and if its going to be cheap why not. that coupled with the removing of the secondary air filter? what do you think

I think it will make the engine sound loud. I think you will gain some power and drop in MPG. I am sure there is some one here who is running the set up you want. IMO, go with Dynomax Super Turbo.

Hey Harrelson! Dig your truck man! Great job so far! I'm planning to do the ready lift as well and was trying to figure what shocks to use in the rear. Do you by any chance have the part # for the rear shocks? Are they off a stock new gen 4x4? Weren't you running ProComps in the rear before? Bilsteins better? Sorry to throw out all those ?s, just curious and a fan of your truck. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks!

I don't have the part number for the rears. I got them from a AZ TW member a few months back. Yes, they came off a 2nd gen 4x4. I did run some Pro Comps, but the rubber bushing wore out, so I replaced them. IMO, the Bilstein ride great, I also have a different leaf springs in the rear that made the ride smoother.

Looking forward to your build.

Today I replaced my All Terrain TA KOs, I had to replace them because I had less than 2/32" of thread left on two of my tires. Instead of replacing two, I bought four new tires. I bought KM2s. Enough said, here are pics.
